About the Role The Pharmacy Director for Acute Care oversees all inpatient pharmacy operations at Deaconess Health System. This leadership role drives strategic direction, pharmaceutical care programs, and financial and regulatory performance to support high-quality, cost-effective patient care. What You'll Do
- Direct acute care pharmacy operations, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with hospital and system goals.
- Manage budgets and financial performance of the acute care pharmacy.
- Lead staff development, supervision, and a culture of safety and quality.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and support quality improvement initiatives across inpatient services.
- Oversee drug distribution and pharmaceutical care programs to optimize patient outcomes and cost efficiency. What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of pharmacy management experience.
- BS Pharmacy or PharmD required; MBA/MHA preferred.
- Strong regulatory, financial, and quality-improvement capabilities.
- Experience leading diverse teams in an inpatient setting. Nice to Have
