About the Role As a Pension Outsourcing Director, you will lead defined benefit plan administration services for clients, guide special projects, and provide ad hoc client support. You will act as day-to-day project manager, contribute to client management and mentoring of associates, and help continuously improve delivery quality. What You'll Do
- Manage and coach the team to meet budgets, timelines and quality standards
- Serve as primary daily contact to clients for service delivery
- Respond to and resolve complex issues, including escalations
- Review work and deliverables of colleagues; raise issues to Directors
- Enhance expertise in retirement plan design and administration
- Prepare moderately complex benefit calculations and trust instructions
- Collect, manipulate, reconcile, and review participant data; identify and resolve data issues
- Resolve complex plan provision questions from analysts
- Follow and update documentation materials; adhere to plan documents and government regulations
- Deliver projects to meet or exceed client expectations
- Increase efficiency by proposing process improvements within client teams
- Develop and train less experienced Benefits Analysts What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 13 years defined benefit plan administration and manual calculation experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance or other quantitative field with strong academic record
- Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of defined benefit plan design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid expertise in Microsoft Excel Nice to Have
