Job Summary/Basic Function:

REPORTS TO: Associate Vice Chancellor, Articulation & Transfer

The Ohio Articulation and Transfer Network (OATN) is a consortium of the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE). The employee in this position will be a Wright State University (WSU) employee as WSU serves as the fiscal agent for the OATN consortium but the position is based in Columbus, Ohio. Currently the person in this position will be working two days in the office and three days at home; however, this arrangement is subject to change. Position reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Articulation and Transfer and Executive Director of the OATN.

This position is responsible for envisioning and overseeing pathway development for the OATN, which includes the Ohio Guaranteed Transfer Pathways (OGTP) and Ohio Technical Center (OTC) Degree Pathways as well as new projects to incorporate career-technical and military credit into pathways. Position provides direct support to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Articulation and Transfer/Executive Director of the Ohio Articulation and Transfer Network with the implementation of the Ohio Department of Higher Education goals and the OATN goals.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree and at least 3 years articulation and transfer (or related) experience.
• Two to three years of experience in some combination of the following areas: academic administration, academic program development, accreditation process, career advising/placement or academic advising for technical programs, student recruitment, or academic services. An appropriate combination of education, training, course work, and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Managerial experience.

• Strong collaboration skills.
• Ability to learn and utilize different software – Proficiency in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. and five years of experience in higher education, preferably with articulation and transfer.
• Experience in academic program development and implementation.
• Knowledge of the Ohio Technical Centers.
• Proficient in InDesign.

Essential Functions and percent of time:

Lead the Ohio Guaranteed Transfer Pathway (OGTP) initiative – (45%)

• Facilitate faculty panels in order to develop new guaranteed transfer pathways and revise existing pathways.
• Implement pathways and policies related to the Ohio Revised Code, the Ohio Articulation & Transfer Policy, and the direction of the Chancellor.
• Maintain institutional templates and CCP Pathways.
• Assist with the development and implementation of Transfer Assurance Guides (TAGs) as they relate to the OGTP initiative.
• Connect OGTP work with other pathway initiatives.
• Lead efforts to digitize pathway templates and ensure ADA compliance.
• Supervise the Associate Director, OGTP, and/or student interns.

Oversee the continued development and implementation of noncredit to credit pathways including but not limited to the Ohio Technical Center Degree (OTC) Pathways – (40%)

• Collaborate with internal teams and Senior OATN Directors to ensure the Ohio Technical Center Degree Pathways and related programs are stackable into other college credit opportunities and pathways for students.
• Recruit and facilitate faculty panels.
• Work in partnership with educational and agency partners to respond to workforce needs.
• Assist with the development and implementation of related Industry-Recognized Credential Transfer Assurance Guides (ITAGs), Career-Technical Assurance Guides (CTAGs), and/or Military Transfer Assurance Guides (MTAGs).

Coordinate outreach efforts to educate stakeholders – (10%)

• Translate policy into practice assisting with existing efforts and finding new avenues to help stakeholders better understand – and utilize – statewide pathways, policies, and other credit mobility efforts.

• Represent the Associate Vice Chancellor at meetings and events.
• Other related duties as assigned by the Associate Vice Chancellor.
