About the Role The Director of Utility Plant Systems oversees the management and modernization of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life-safety and Central Plant systems across Mercy University’s campus infrastructure. Under the Vice President for Operations and Facilities and the Executive Director for Facilities Management, this role leads technical design, contract development, and capital upgrades, while advancing sustainability efforts in climate and energy initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Develop mechanical, electrical and plumbing specifications and standards for campus construction activities.
- Review industry options and recommend components.
- Build a cross-functional working team within Operations and Facilities to develop and maintain standards, ensuring successful turnover of operational systems.
