Position Summary

The Director of University Partnerships will administer and serve as the college point of contact for the Double Degree Program (Wright State University), the Sinclair University of Dayton Academy, Reverse Transfer Program and future dual enrollment/transfer partnerships created with four year institutions. This position will be responsible for developing internal and external networks to provide an effective means of communicating transfer partnerships throughout the college and community.

The salary for this position will be commensurate with education and experience.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and consistent information is shared with students regarding transfer partnerships and requirements.
  • Build and maintain an effective and comprehensive plan for conducting orientation sessions for students and parents interested in the partnership programs.
  • Collaborate with Research Analytics and Reporting department to develop a database to monitor and measure the progress of current and future students participating in the transfer partnership programs.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to create web pages, print materials and other resources designed to promote the transfer partnership programs.
  • Operationalize the Reverse Transfer Program utilizing current registration and academic advising processes.
  • Identify, foster, and develop opportunities for meaningful collaborative partnerships with four year institutions.
  • Travel to partnering four year institutions to participate in planning and networking meetings. Assist with other transfer projects and initiatives as appropriate. (ie annual College Transfer Fair).

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in a field related to the discipline area of higher education required
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in higher education, strategic enrollment, academic advising or a related disciplines required
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while providing great attention to detail and meeting all prescribed deadlines required
  • Ability to develop successful professional relationships with 4-year institution representatives for student success opportunities required
  • Professional communication skills to include but not limited to oral and written required
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to establish cooperative working relationships with internal and external constituents required
