Salary: 116,500-200,000/year + profit sharing + benefits
Range depends on skill level and overall experience.

Ramsey Solutions Headquarters is located just outside of Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee. We value our strong, unified company culture because we believe the best work is done together. What You’d Do in This Role:
You'll own the technical vision for Ramsey Connect, an AI-powered pro directory that maps Ramsey's principles to vetted pros across the Trusted ecosystem, connecting the millions of people living the Ramsey plan with the professionals who help them execute it. As the engineering leader for a small, high-velocity squad, you'll stand beside the Senior Director of Product as a true partner and work directly with executive leadership to set product direction and the technical strategy to get there. This is a leadership role: you'll own hiring, growth, and the health of the engineering team, and you'll be the person the product leader turns to when something breaks, something's impossible, or something's about to ship that shouldn't. You'll stay hands-on, writing code yourself when it helps, while AI-augmented development, already central to how this team builds, does a real share of the implementation. You'll shape how the team puts that leverage to work, calibrating where AI can move fast and where a careful human hand still matters most.
You’re Probably a Match If: You've led engineering on a consumer-facing web product through a critical growth stage, whether that's MVP to scale, a platform shift, or both, and you know what it takes to make a fragile product solid. You have progressive software engineering experience and have led a team before, operating at the director level or as the de facto engineering leader who owns engineering decisions, not just opinions. You're comfortable writing code yourself, even if it's a modest slice of your week, and just as comfortable presenting technical strategy to executive leadership. You're genuinely excited about AI-augmented development as a core productivity multiplier, with real opinions on where tools like Claude Code work well and where they don't. You partner with product leaders as a peer, fluent in both business and engineering, knowing when to push back and when to defer. You're a systems thinker who sees how a design system or architecture decision made today shapes what's possible months from now. You've built at scale in Vue.js, React, or Angular, as well as you are well versed in backend languages like Kotlin or Java or similar languages when the work calls for it (preferred).
What Winning Looks Like: Sitting with product and design to scope every epic, bringing the technical answer, or knowing how to find it quickly, before the team commits. Translating product strategy into architecture decisions on design systems, routing, and backend data models. Building and growing the engineering team, setting the bar for hiring, code quality, and technical debt through clear standards rather than process overhead. Evolving the team's AI-augmented development workflow and building the tooling and practices that let AI agents handle the micro work while engineers focus on the macro. Guarding the design system and making sure the routing, backend, and data architecture scale as the product and team grow. Calling the right shot on when to build custom and when existing components are enough.
