A Little Bit About Us: You might know us from our founder and CEO, Dave Ramsey, who’s given no-nonsense money advice on the radio since 1992. Three decades later, Ramsey Solutions is a household name in personal finance, with a mission to change the toxic money culture for good.
-
Our Mission: Ramsey Solutions provides biblically based, commonsense education and empowerment that give HOPE to everyone in every walk of life.
Here’s a Taste of Our Benefits:
- Health insurance (includes plans eligible for an HSA—with a company match up to $500!)
- 401(k) retirement plan with 4% match/company contribution
- Annual wellness, counseling and grocery membership reimbursement
- On-campus cafe with subsidized pricing for breakfast, lunch and coffee bar
- Dependent care FSA
- Tons of cultural activities, like weekly devotional, leadership development courses, Battle of the Bands, and one epic Christmas party!
Where and How You’d Work:
-
Ramsey Solutions Headquarters is located just outside of Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee. We value our strong, unified company culture because we believe the best work is done together. That’s why all of our team members work on-site under the same roof. But work-life balance is also important to us, so we offer flexible work schedules to take the stress out of appointments, family obligations and other needs that may pop up.
-
While every team member has a designated workspace (with an electronic sit-stand desk), our campus was designed to house a variety of unique work and play zones (e.g., quiet library space, coffee bar/lounge areas, recreational game zone, and outside/patio work and break areas).
What You’d Do in This Role:
- You'll lead the Ramsey Education sales team, including the Associate Directors and sales team members who bring financial education to schools, districts, sponsors, and homeschool families. You'll set the pace with a strong weekly rhythm of pipeline reviews, forecast calls, and deal strategy, and you'll roll up your sleeves alongside the team on phone calls and client visits. This is a player-coach seat for a leader who loves teaching people to sell and keeps the bar for results high. Every school and district your team wins puts students on a path to a healthier relationship with money.
You’re Probably a Match If:
- You have a proven personal track record of winning in sales and of growing other salespeople into stronger performers.
- You've led a larger sales team, set clear expectations, coached to performance, and held people accountable.
- You can navigate complex sales cycles with multiple decision-makers, long buying windows, procurement requirements, and budget constraints.
- You manage a pipeline with a sharp eye. You can spot a weak opportunity, challenge a forecast, and help the team take the next right action.
- You're a strong sales teacher who makes the work practical, and you have a real interest in studying sales and personal development.
- You have a player-coach mindset, you're comfortable making calls and joining client visits, and you're ready for up to 50% travel, depending on the season.
- You bring an entrepreneurial spirit, take ownership, and keep people focused and moving forward when things are going well and when they aren't.
- You've sold curriculum, educational publishing, EdTech, or sponsorship programs, or sold into K-12 schools and districts. This is a big plus, and so is experience with state adoptions, selling to open territory, homeschooling curriculum, and curriculum purchasing cycles.
What Winning Looks Like:
- Setting clear expectations for pipeline creation, opportunity quality, forecast accuracy, and revenue performance.
- Leading and developing the sales team, including sales leaders and individual contributors.
- Running a consistent sales rhythm through pipeline reviews, forecasting, deal strategy, and coaching.
- Getting into the work alongside the team through key calls, client meetings, and complex deal strategy.
- Building territory and account plans that point the team toward the right schools, districts, and sponsors.
- Leading strategy for high-value opportunities, renewals, sponsorship programs, state adoptions, open territory, and key district relationships.
- Coaching team members on prospecting, discovery, presentations, follow-up, negotiation, and closing.
- Keeping clean data in Salesforce CRM and using it to spot pipeline gaps, forecast risk, and coaching opportunities.
- Partnering with Marketing to improve lead quality, campaigns, and the handoff from demand generation to sales.
- Holding the team accountable to the commitments they make and addressing performance concerns directly.
- Building a sales culture marked by ownership, urgency, healthy competition, and care for people.
- Building and stacking qualified opportunities across current and future buying cycles to create a healthy, sustainable pipeline.
