About the Role LIU seeks a strategic leader to manage all lands, facilities, and real property on the Post and Brooklyn Campuses. The role directs the Physical Plant operations, campus construction, and facilities planning, overseeing the direction, supervision, coordination and accomplishment of work across multiple operational areas, with responsibility for budgeting, space allocation, safety, and personnel management. The position requires on-call status and attendance at university events.
What You'll Do
- Oversee Physical Plant operations including transportation, building and mechanical maintenance, custodial, grounds, utilities, and Central Stores, as well as plant administration, construction, long-range planning, space allocation, safety, and personnel management.
