Director of Marketplaces
The Director of Marketplaces for HEYDUDE will lead the end-to-end strategy and performance of the brand’s business across Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other major and emerging marketplace platforms. This consumer-focused and data-driven leader will be responsible for delivering a consistent brand experience from browse through fulfillment while driving customer acquisition, market share, category expansion, and profitable revenue growth. The Director will lead the U.S. HEYDUDE eTail team and collaborate closely with agency partners, Global eCommerce, merchandising, product, marketing, demand planning, and other cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do

Own the strategic vision and growth trajectory of the HEYDUDE marketplace business, driving market share gains, category expansion, customer acquisition, and profitable revenue growth across Amazon, Walmart, Target, and emerging platforms.

Manage annual marketplace budgets and forecasting, establishing clear performance goals and using data and marketplace insights to identify risks, opportunities, and actions needed to deliver business results.

Lead and influence agency partners to deliver best-in-class retail readiness, including content, search engine optimization, product detail page optimization, ratings and reviews, Brand Store experiences, catalog management, and conversion-driving assets.

Develop marketplace-specific activation and advertising strategies that maximize traffic, conversion, and incremental revenue during key commercial moments, leveraging both internal and agency capabilities.

Partner with merchandising and product teams to identify assortment gaps, establish launch priorities, and develop marketplace-exclusive opportunities that accelerate growth and increase market share.

Partner with cross-functional teams to align marketplace strategies with key eCommerce initiatives, promotions, demand planning, brand marketing, and broader organizational priorities.

Collaborate with the HEYDUDE Global eCommerce team to share marketplace insights and platform opportunities, establish brand-wide standards, and create a consistent consumer experience across channels.

What You'll Bring to the Table
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience.

Seven or more years of B2C eCommerce experience, with demonstrated success growing an enterprise-level Amazon business across both Fulfillment by Amazon and Fulfilled by Merchant structures.

Three to five years of experience leading and developing eCommerce talent, with a demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and enable strong business results.

Proven success leading businesses through significant scale, with experience managing a marketplace business of $100 million or more preferred.

Demonstrated ability to develop annual marketplace strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts that align with departmental and organizational performance goals.

Deep knowledge of Amazon 3P and marketplace best practices, including retail readiness metrics, marketplace SEO, content optimization, catalog management, advertising, and conversion rate improvement strategies.

Experience managing external marketplace agencies and driving accountability against clearly defined objectives and measurable business outcomes.

Demonstrated success building strong cross-functional relationships, launching and scaling new product categories, advocating for marketplace priorities, and expanding market share in highly competitive environments.

Salary or Pay Range: $176,000 - $186,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
