Director of Investor Relations

About the Role Anthropic seeks a Director of Investor Relations to lead investor engagement and craft the company’s investment narrative in collaboration with the Head of Investor Relations. The role aims to help investors understand Anthropic’s mission, strategy, financial performance, and competitive advantages, translating complex technical and financial concepts into clear storytelling. The ideal candidate combines capital markets experience with deep interest in AI and can operate autonomously to shape a scalable IR program. What You'll Do

• Serve as a thought partner to the Head of Investor Relations in shaping priorities and direction of Anthropic's investor relations program
• Build strong relationships with senior members of the investment community as their primary point of contact
• Draft and refine investor-facing messaging on financial performance, strategy, and progress on key initiatives
• Represent Anthropic in investor meetings, answering questions across the company’s business and product suite
• Advise leadership on investor sentiment, market expectations, and how key decisions are likely to be received
• Develop a view of Anthropic’s shareholder base and lead investor targeting and outreach
• Track developments across AI and broader technology landscape, distilling them into concise internal briefings
• Manage cross-functional initiatives across legal, finance, communications and other departments
• Prepare the executive team for investor conversations by anticipating questions, sharpening messages, and providing data
• Help build systems, templates, and processes for a lean IR function operating at scale as the company grows What We're Looking For
• Experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, investing, or a comparable capital markets role
• Strong track record synthesizing complex financial and technical concepts into clear investor narratives
• Analytical rigor and ability to distill market and investor sentiment into actionable guidance for leadership
• Background in capital markets and a keen interest in technology and AI
• Comfortable working autonomously and building new processes where needed
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with senior investors
