About the Role As the Director of Engineering in Bengaluru, you will lead critical initiatives that enhance developer productivity and drive innovation in the Databricks developer platform, including AI-assisted development. You will own the technical strategy, architecture, and organizational design, while growing leaders and delivering scalable cloud services. You will work closely with engineering, product, field, recruiting, and HR to align teams around long-term goals and customer needs. What You'll Do

- Lead initiatives to enhance developer productivity and drive innovation in the developer platform, including AI-assisted tooling.
- Own long-term technical architecture, balance product roadmap with debt, and ensure scalable cloud services.
