About the Role Director of Data Platform Engineering will own the data platform, drive architecture decisions, and manage data engineering initiatives to enable scalable data products. The role leads and mentors the data/analytics teams and collaborates with stakeholders to implement the modern data stack with governance, testing, and monitoring in place. What You'll Do
- Own the data platform and drive architecture decisions to support scalable data products
- Design and implement scalable data infrastructure and pipelines
- Manage data teams and oversee governance, SLAs, testing, and monitoring
- Lead and mentor data/analytics teams and collaborate with cross-functional partners
- Partner with stakeholders to adopt and implement the modern data stack tools (e.g., Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, Sigma, Hex, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Airflow, Dagster, Kafka, Spark, Flink) What We're Looking For
- 10+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering
- 3–5 years leading teams
- Expertise with modern data stack
- Strong SQL and Python
- Experience with data modeling, governance, SLAs, testing and monitoring
- Familiarity with the following tools: Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, Sigma, Hex, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Airflow, Dagster, Kafka, Spark, Flink Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $250,000 - $290,000 per year
- Location: Remote (United States or Canada)
