About the Role Lead Wolfspeed's cost accounting function and coach the team while aligning with business Finance on annual and quarterly cost targets. Drive the transition of the costing system to SAP and own budgeting, forecasting and cost modeling. Communicate variances, collaborate with operations, and support external audits and process improvements to enhance financial performance.
What You'll Do
- Manage and coach Wolfspeed’s cost accounting team with a focus on development and performance
- Lead the transition of the costing system to SAP, including involvement in system design
- Forecast product costs for annual, quarterly, and monthly budget cycles and build financial models to evaluate business strategies
- Prepare budget versus actual analyses for product costs and factory yields, and communicate variances to factory and business leaders
