Job title: Director, Mid-Market Sales - Canada
About the Role Samsara is seeking a Director of Mid-Market Sales for Canada to lead and scale a high-performing sales team in a remote Canada-based role. You will coach a team of mid-market sales professionals, drive strategy, and help us grow revenue while embedding Samsara’s customer-first culture.
What You'll Do
- Coach a team of 6-8 sales managers on sales strategy, pipeline reviews, and achieving quarterly targets.
- Hire new managers and account executives; provide onboarding and ongoing coaching.
- Work cross-functionally to solve problems and manage projects.
- Create content for ongoing training and development.
- Support managers and account executives through professional development plans.
- Provide clear and tactical feedback to account executives.
- Further culture within the team and commercial organization with high emotional intelligence.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally and across new offices.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of sales experience with proven performance owning a complex selling motion from prospecting through close.
- 3+ years managing US teams.
- Experience leading full-cycle sales into the US market.
- Strong track record of overachievement with experience coaching a team in outbounding.
- Understanding of complex sales cycles involving multiple decision makers, multiple products, and extended time frames.
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable with public speaking.
- Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
- Self-starter and adaptable to change; continued growth mindset to learn a unique industry.
- Proficient in making data-driven conclusions.
- Ability to provide upward feedback.
- Familiarity with SFDC.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees: CAD 341,000 – 409,200.
- Salary type: yearly (OTE).
- Total Rewards: above-market total compensation through base salary, variable pay, and equity for eligible roles; opportunity for above-market pay for top performers.
