Job title: Director, Investment Grade Credit Trading
About the Role The Director, Investment Grade Credit Trading contributes to the success of the US Investment Grade Cash Trading Desk within Global Fixed Income, ensuring that specific goals, plans, and initiatives are executed in support of the team's business strategies. You will ensure activities comply with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
What You'll Do
- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Support the Debt Capital Markets franchise through trading in the secondary bond market.
- Drive revenue and trading volumes through interactions with clients and prudent risk taking.
- Foster new and existing client relationships and cross-sell across other areas and product groups.
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Manage trading inventories and generate trading revenues in compliance with limits and the bank's risk profile.
- Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles.
What We're Looking For
- Experience on US Investment Grade Cash Trading or Global Fixed Income trading desks.
- Strong analytical and client-facing skills with ability to deepen relationships and cross-sell.
- Demonstrated ability to manage risk and work within risk limits.
- Ability to collaborate across product groups and with clients.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: USD 300,000.00 - 300,000.00
