As telematics continues to become a larger and more strategic component of Liberty Mutual's business, we are scaling capabilities across Personal Auto, Claims, and Small Commercial to unlock new sources of customer value, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.

We are seeking a product leader to own Program Delivery & Support Capabilities for Auto Product Telematics. This leader will be responsible for program delivery across all telematics products and capabilities — pre- and post-bind, including Mileage — managing the cross-product telematics roadmap, and overseeing telematics vendor relationships and budget. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Auto Product Telematics and partners closely with Product Design & Experience, Monitoring & Analytics, Product Owners, Data Science, Claims, and Technology to keep delivery on track as the portfolio scales.

Responsibilities
-
Lead program delivery across all telematics products and capabilities, pre- and post-bind, including Mileage, ensuring delivery is executed on time, is of high quality, and with strong cross-functional coordination.

Own and evolve the cross-product telematics roadmap, accounting for competing priorities within the portfolio and driving prioritization and sequencing across Product, Analytics, Technology, Claims, and Service partners.

Own telematics vendor strategy and relationship management, including a growing vendor budget, driving disciplined investment and performance accountability across vendor partnerships.

Build and operationalize portfolio governance that keeps a multi-disciplinary organization aligned around shared outcomes.

Partner with Product Owners, Customer Experience, Analytics, Modeling, State Filings, Service, and Technology leaders to resolve cross-functional delivery challenges and keep execution on pace with strategy.

Support the telematics data use case governance model, helping translate prioritized use cases into delivery plans across underwriting, claims, and customer experience workflows.

Monitor program performance and operational health, surfacing risks early and driving corrective action before they threaten delivery timelines, budget, or program quality.

Build, develop, and manage a team of product professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration, and a strong delivery culture.

Represent Program Delivery in cross-organizational planning and leadership forums, ensuring delivery realities are reflected in broader strategic and investment decisions.
Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent in mathematics, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field

Minimum 8 years, typically 10 years or more of relevant experience

PhD beneficial

Expert skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (eg, SAS, Emblem)

Must have exceptional planning, analytical, decision-making, communication, and project management skills

Experience directly managing others required

Experience managing operations beneficial

High-level knowledge of data sources, tools, and the business (lines, systems, pricing plans), predictive modeling, and code (eg, SQL)

Significant understanding of competitors' pricing strategies and relationship to our own

Industry knowledge developed from internal meetings, news alerts, project-specific work, and proactive research into competitor strategies
