Job title: Director, Graduate Medical Education
About the Role Involves designing, conducting, promoting, evaluating and supporting health professions education programs in compliance with organizational objectives and nationally accepted accreditation standards and requirements. Supports learners (including but not limited to faculty, residents, clinical fellows, graduate or undergraduate learners, practicing or licensed professionals) in areas such as curriculum, teaching and learning activities, scheduling, core competencies, assessment and evaluations. Coordinates all activities associated with ongoing administration of health professions education programs.
What You'll Do
- Design, conduct, promote, evaluate and support health professions education programs in compliance with accreditation standards.
- Support learners across curricula, teaching and learning activities, scheduling, core competencies, assessment and evaluations.
- Coordinate all activities related to ongoing administration of health professions education programs.
- Manage subordinate staff to achieve organizational objectives; establish departmental goals; ensure internal controls; steward human, financial, and physical resources.
- Collaborate with faculty, residents, clinical fellows, graduate or undergraduate learners, and other professionals to meet program goals.
What We're Looking For
- Experience designing and administering health professions education programs with understanding of accreditation standards.
- Ability to coordinate multiple education programs and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership, resource management, and supervisory skills with emphasis on internal controls and accountability.
- Effective collaboration and communication with diverse learner groups (faculty, residents, fellows, professionals).
Nice to Have
- Experience in graduate medical education program administration (preferred).
- Knowledge of national accreditation processes and standards.
