The Director, Global Talent Acquisition Enablement & Effectiveness helps shape how Alcon attracts and hires talent globally. This leader will set the strategy and operating model for Talent Acquisition enablement and oversee the capabilities that make recruiting more effective, scalable and data-driven, including TA technology, TA operations and process excellence, analytics, sourcing effectiveness, employer brand and recruitment marketing, onboarding, compliance, governance and investment optimization.

Working with key stakeholders across HR Operations, People Analytics, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and our RPO partners, this role will turn enterprise talent priorities into practical solutions that improve quality, speed, candidate and hiring manager experience, productivity, compliance and cost effectiveness.

This position is onsite at Alcon’s Fort Worth, TX location.

In this role, you will:

Shape Global TA Enablement Strategy & Effectiveness

• Define the global TA enablement strategy, operating model, governance and service standards across regions and businesses.
• Design and continuously improve recruiting processes that enhance candidate and hiring manager experience, recruiter productivity, quality and business outcomes.
• Establish scalable global playbooks, tools, operating cadences and change strategies that enable simple, consistent and effective recruiting practices.
• Partner across HR and the business to anticipate evolving talent acquisition trends and policy and regulatory requirements; translating them into actionable solutions.

Lead TA Technology & Innovation

• Own the global TA technology strategy, roadmap, governance and investment priorities, aligned with Alcon’s broader HR technology strategy.
• Lead optimization of the TA technology ecosystem, including Workday Recruiting, CRM and sourcing platforms, assessments, interview scheduling, onboarding, recruitment marketing, analytics and emerging AI-enabled solutions.
• Evaluate technology adoption and business value, identifying opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, experience and talent outcomes.
• Develop business cases and ROI analyses for technology investments and ensure the TA technology portfolio delivers measurable enterprise value.

Optimize Talent Attraction & Employer Brand

• Lead Alcon’s global employer brand and recruitment marketing strategy to strengthen our ability to attract priority talent.
• Oversee sourcing channel strategy across digital advertising, social platforms, employee referrals, agencies, search partners, talent communities and other recruiting channels.
• Use performance data and market insights to optimize channel investments, campaigns and recruiting strategies.
• Partner with Communications, Marketing, D&I and regional stakeholders to bring Alcon’s employer brand to life across candidate touchpoints.

Drive Analytics & Continuous Improvement

• Partner with People Analytics to define global TA metrics, dashboards and insights that enable better business and talent decisions.
• Monitor recruiting performance across candidate funnels, sourcing channels, technology, vendors, recruiter productivity and stakeholder experience.
• Translate data into compelling insights, recommendations and investment priorities for senior leaders.
• Identify root causes, opportunities and improvement actions that strengthen quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Lead Day-One Onboarding

• Own the strategy, governance and continued evolution of BestSTART, Alcon’s enterprise day-one onboarding experience.
• Establish measures that assess onboarding quality, engagement and business impact.

Drive Operational & Financial Excellence

• Provide strategic oversight of global GTA budgets, investments and vendor performance.
• Use financial and performance data to identify opportunities to optimize spend and maximize return on investment.
• Establish vendor performance expectations and lead improvement strategies across key partnerships.
• Ensure strong governance, controls and compliance across recruiting processes, technology, data and vendors.

What You’ll Bring to Alcon

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +18 yrs; Assoc.+14 yrs; M.S.+7 yrs; PhD+6 yrs)

The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

10 Years of Relevant Experience

6 Years of Demonstrated Leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership experience across global Talent Acquisition enablement, operations, technology, transformation, sourcing, employer brand, recruitment marketing or onboarding.
• Experience with Workday Recruiting and broader talent acquisition technologies, including sourcing, CRM, assessment, recruitment marketing and analytics platforms.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including experience with ROI analysis, business cases, budget management and vendor optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to influence senior leaders and drive business decisions.
• Experience developing or optimizing employer brand, recruitment marketing and talent attraction strategies across multiple markets.
• Experience working with global RPO or outsourced recruiting models and strategic vendors.
• Experience advancing inclusive hiring and talent strategies across diverse markets and populations.
• Experience leading across regions and cultures; additional language capabilities are a plus.
