About the Role Director in EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Deal Technology practice leads IT-focused transactions across sectors, developing and executing transaction strategies and supporting pre- and post-deal activities such as operational and carve-out planning and integration tracking. You will work with senior client teams to shape value realization in complex environments and help to manage the change associated with transactions. What You'll Do
- Manage and execute IT-focused transaction projects across sectors
- Develop and execute strategies for transactions, including pre-deal (operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (integration planning, tracking)
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and influence client perspectives
- Solve problems end-to-end (problem identification, hypothesis development, synthesis, and narrative)
- Collaborate across EY-Parthenon sub-service lines and contribute to practice development initiatives
- Identify ideas for value enhancement, risk mitigation, and successful change of operations, functions, and people
- Support business development activities, including presentations and client meetings
- Demonstrate a commercial mindset and drive outcomes in a fast-paced consulting environment What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information and Operations Management, or Analytics with 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with ~3 years of related work experience; MBA preferred
- Significant management consulting experience
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
- Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with strong quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Experience leading and managing in complex business environments; ability to synthesize approaches to integration/divestiture conflicts
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills; ability to develop long-lasting relationships internally and externally
- Expertise in a minimum of 4 IT skillsets from the listed areas (e.g., IT strategy, Enterprise architecture, Infrastructure and cloud architecture, Cyber/ IAM, Digital Tech Strategy, ERP implementation, Cloud strategy and delivery, Data governance, separation planning, etc.)
- Certifications in Agile, ITIL, PMP, Six Sigma, CISSP or CISA highly desired
- Must reside in or be within commutable distance to an office location; willingness to travel
- Ideally, a proven record of excellence in IT transactions and experience in another large professional services organization; knowledge of firm-approved AI tools in a business setting Nice to Have
