About the Role The American Cancer Society seeks a Director of Enterprise Impact Strategy to lead the development of an enterprise-wide impact growth strategy aligned to revenue and strategic goals. This fully remote role is based anywhere in the U.S. and requires partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive strategic decisions, design impact initiatives, and ensure the connection between impact and revenue.
What You'll Do
- Lead and facilitate discussions across leadership to identify impact outcomes and measures, synthesize data, and drive decisions on strategic plan development or shifts.
- Identify and prioritize cross-pillar impact initiatives; develop business cases or innovation candidates for investment.
- Serve as strategy liaison to impact pillar teams across the enterprise; provide business partner support and help execute operations to achieve impact goals.
- Maintain current knowledge of impact-strategy trends and build a community of champions to drive momentum toward integrated strategy, performance, and operations.
- Work as part of a flexible internal consulting function across the Enterprise Strategy department to manage requests and support end-to-end initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in nonprofit impact strategy, outcome measurement, and program development; experience in health and human services nonprofit preferred.
- 10+ years of collaborative leadership with senior and executive leaders.
- Strong knowledge of American Cancer Society programs and organizational infrastructure; ability to operate in a complex nonprofit or for-profit environment.
- 3+ years of direct experience in nonprofit impact program development and design, including outcome measurement and reporting.
- 3+ years leading enterprise impact strategy development.
- 3+ years of experience designing and facilitating large meetings (3-200+ attendees) across leadership levels.
- Nonprofit strategy or management consulting experience preferred.
- Travel up to 10%.

Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary range: $130,000 to $145,000 per year.
