Key responsibilities

• UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking a Director, Engineer, Advisory Investment Programs in Weehawken, NJ.

We’re looking for a Director, Engineer, Advisory Investment Programs to:

• Apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment. Design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services provided to clients and employees.

• Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions by applying digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements. Design, plan, and deliver robust and sustainable code following clean code practices and test-driven development.

• Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues. Collaborate to refine requirements and conduct code reviews to ensure that coding standards are adhered to. Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

• Your skills and experience

Education & Experience Requirement:

• This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field of study plus ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or as a Technology Lead, Technical Lead, IT Analyst, or related occupation.

Position requires experience with the following:

• OOP based UI frameworks including AngularJS, ReactJS, NodeJS, and Bootstrap; Babel 7; JavaScript 6; Redux; Redux middleware; Redux Axios; Webpack 4; HTML5; CSS3; JavaScript; jQuery; Core Java; Spring; Rest APIs; SQL; NoSQL; Agile based execution processes

The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:

• United States - New Jersey - Weehawken min USD 189592- max USD 250000 /annum

• The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
