Job title: Director, Corporate Partnerships
About the Role
Join the American Cancer Society as a Director of Corporate Partnerships responsible for overseeing mission and income objectives for an assigned portfolio of corporate partners with $1.8M+ annual revenue. You will serve as a liaison to external partners, ensure adherence to account plans, and drive successful execution of opportunities to deliver exceptional partner experiences. You will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with the Strategic Director and other peers to meet income targets and optimize processes.
What You'll Do
- Oversee a defined, complex portfolio of corporate accounts; provide programmatic and execution support to fundraising teams, ensuring alignment with account plans.
- Drive growth by renewing and expanding high-impact relationships, developing pipelines, conducting market research, and executing account and stewardship plans.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert on the sales cycle and Salesforce; maintain accurate account information and activity records.
- Act as liaison between account relationship coordinators and enterprise teams (marketing, communications, legal) to facilitate partnership execution.
- Support corporate budget forecasting and planning; manage historical relationship data and deliverables aligned with revenue opportunities.
- Execute operational aspects of CEOs Against Cancer Chapters and other corporate initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Director, Corporate Partnerships, to meet income targets, improve processes, and optimize business operations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; five years of project management or fundraising experience in a multi-million-dollar organization.
- Self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision; strong relationship-building and internal networking.
- Proven project management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in computer-based applications; Salesforce experience; strong written and verbal communication, presentations, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to respond to changing priorities and maintain composure under stress; customer service orientation.
- Travel: limited travel.
Nice to Have
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising or corporate partnerships; knowledge of ACS policies and programs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary $70,000 - $75,000/year.
