About the Role Sinch's Board governs the company and comprises non-executive directors including Erik Fröberg (Chairman), Björn Zethraeus, Kristina Willgård, Lena Almefelt, Mattias Stenberg, and Renée Robinson Strömberg. Directors bring extensive experience in technology, telecom, finance, and governance from roles at Ericsson, Cap Gemini, EQT, AddLife, Octave, Neqst and other organisations. The role is to supervise management, ensure robust governance, oversee strategy, risk management, and engage with major shareholders.
What You'll Do
- Provide governance oversight and strategic direction to Sinch's management and operations.
- Review and approve major strategies, budgets, capital expenditures, risk management, and appointments.
- Monitor financial performance, compliance, and governance processes.
- Engage with shareholders and other stakeholders to align interests.
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record in executive leadership and board experience; ability to contribute to strategy and governance.
- International experience and multi-industry background; background in technology, software, telecom, or related sectors.
- Strong educational background and high-level professional experience (CEO, CFO, General Counsel, or senior board roles).
- Ability to commit time and provide strategic guidance; strong governance and risk management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience as chair or board member in multiple organisations; cross-border business and multi-industry governance.
- Additional directorships in other companies and demonstrated independent oversight.
