About the Role
This regional leadership role oversees field sales in the hospital market for Medline Canada, including supervising the account management team, pricing policies, and regional strategy. The position leads the development and performance of the sales force, drives customer satisfaction, and partners with sales administration to ensure effective order processing and incentive execution.
What You'll Do
- Implement regional sales strategy and manage commercial activities
- Responsible for achieving quarterly and annual territory sales targets as set by leadership, aligned with sales and marketing plans
- Define the orientation of sales with vision and passion to inspire, mobilize and exceed objectives
- Ensure efficient progression of healthcare professionals through training to exceed high-quality product training targets
- Ensure a rapid response to additional clinical support requests and supervise clinical escalation strategies to optimize results, adoption and customer satisfaction
- Ensure the sales team maintains required skills, relationships and certifications to deliver world-class training
- Share customer and sales team feedback with leadership to ensure continuous improvement of the training program
- Visit potential clients in the region as needed to develop relationships, support the sales team and promote the features and benefits of Medline products or national brands
- Optimize account volume, product mix and the Willingness to Recommend to drive sales and expand the client base
- Ensure effectiveness and efficiency of sales team deployment
- Recruit, train and onboard field team talent in a timely manner
- Manage performance and development of staff by identifying strengths and opportunities and implementing concrete development plans
- Establish ambitious objectives and adopt a leadership style suitable for a compliant and evolving environment
- Work with sales administration to ensure order processing and the proper execution and communication of sales incentive plans
What We're Looking For
- Baccalauréat (B.A. ou B.S.) or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Three years or more of sales team management experience in healthcare and three years or more in sales and management of medical device support
- Due to the scope, advanced bilingualism in French and English (French/English bilingual)
- Experience and knowledge in sales management and training
- In-depth knowledge of the medical device industry
- Ability to meet or exceed forecasts, budgets, milestones and timelines
- Ability to guide clients through the learning curve of an innovative product or procedure, for both ordinary and complex cases, and to train colleagues to do the same
- Ability to lead and perform effectively in a high-performing team, providing constructive feedback and coaching
- Ability to coach and develop others using analytical and results-oriented approaches
- Ability to manage and prioritize workload, multitask and handle a variety of issues and responsibilities
- Ability to communicate scientific and clinical features and benefits of a product
- Confidence in product knowledge while respecting clinical judgment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent organizational skills; flexibility to adapt to a fast-evolving environment
- Business acumen – understanding market dynamics, key levers and marketing plans, and ability to execute strategic directives compliantly
- Ability to use IT tools, applications and mobile devices, and to operate in multicultural environments

- Salary range: $132,800.00 - $199,200.00 annually
