About the Role The Children's Center Of Monmouth County provides person-centered, meaningful, age-appropriate options designed to enrich the life experiences of those we support. Direct Support Professionals implement strategies to achieve participants’ personal outcomes and help foster independence, acceptance, and belonging through community and on-site activities. What You'll Do
- Provide person-centered supports to participants to help them participate in community and on-site activities.
- Assist in implementing strategies to achieve participants’ personal outcomes as part of our day habilitation program.
- Collaborate with other program staff and supervisors to ensure participants have the equipment, materials, and support they need.
- Support families and home representatives by communicating relevant information and providing consistent care and supervision where appropriate. What We're Looking For
