About the Role Rutgers University is hiring a Dining Services Worker A to support Dining Services. What You'll Do
- Lead and train a group of Dining Services Workers in general and specialized food handling, dish room operations, and maintaining sanitary dining hall facilities.
- Provide dining room services to guests, including cash register duties.
- Collaborate with Dining Services supervisors and other staff to ensure smooth service and compliance with sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions across dining halls.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to guide and instruct a team of Dining Services Workers in general and specialized food handling, dish room operations, and sanitation.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and maintenance of dining hall facilities.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle cash register duties as part of dining room service.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions from supervisors.
