Job title: Digitizer – Furniture Patterns
About the Role The Digitizer will digitize current and future furniture patterns to drive automated cutting machines. This role supports production by generating markers, maintaining the production schedule, and providing accurate pattern data for manufacturing.
What You'll Do
- Digitize current and future furniture patterns for automated cutting machines.
- Generate Gerber and Z1 Accumark markers for patterns; work closely with the cutting supervisor to manage day-to-day issues associated with the production schedule.
- Generate tracking data to accompany marker packages, including marker length and width, material usage, piece counts, and bundle codes where required.
- Provide updated models and/or markers when design revisions are made to patterns.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years cutting/digitizing patterns.
- Experience with Gerber and Z1 Accumark (Accumark) software; Accumark experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong computer and communication skills; team player; reliable.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision; own reliable transportation.
- Availability to work weekends and overtime.
- English proficiency (reading, comprehension, speaking, and writing).
- Physical ability to lift up to 15 lbs; sit for up to 8 hours; standing and walking as required.
- Experience in furniture manufacturing preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Accumark software.
- Furniture manufacturing experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly, non-exempt; overtime as needed.
