Your responsibilities

The Digitalization & Systems Expert is responsible for driving the digital transformation of the Production System by developing, implementing, and optimizing digital solutions, data analytics, automation tools, and management systems. The role serves as the key link between Production System principles, operational excellence methodologies, and digital technologies to enhance productivity, quality, transparency, and operational performance.

This position ensures that digital tools and systems effectively support continuous improvement, Lean principles, standardization, performance management, and business decision-making across manufacturing and operational environments.

• Drive digitalization initiatives for the Production System, translating Lean and Operational Excellence requirements into digital solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational performance through digitalization, automation, and innovation.
• Manage Production System applications and digital platforms, including system requirements, governance, user access, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, visual management systems, and standardized BI reporting solutions, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
• Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities and provide actionable, data-driven insights to leadership.
• Implement workflow automation using Power Platform or equivalent technologies, and support AI-enabled and predictive analytics solutions.
• Enable Lean, Kaizen, Problem Solving, and Continuous Improvement initiatives through digital tools for root cause analysis, project tracking, action management, and benefit realization.
• Drive user adoption through training, documentation, coaching, and ongoing support for regional and local users.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, and Operational Excellence teams to identify business needs and support global and regional improvement programs.
• Promote digital best practices, innovation, and knowledge sharing across operational sites.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field. Master's degree is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in Manufacturing Excellence, Operational Excellence, Production Systems, Digital Transformation, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience implementing digital solutions in manufacturing or operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, manufacturing systems, operational KPIs, and process management.
• Experience with business intelligence, data visualization, and reporting tools.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Spanish and Chinese language skills are an advantage.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, Lean Six Sigma, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Agile, Project Management, Manufacturing Systems, or Industry 4.0 are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally approximately 20–40% of the time, depending on business needs.
