A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Digitalization Project Manager, you will support the strategic growth and business continuity of the Project Procurement Operations division in Romania, Siemens Energy is adding two Digitalization Project Managers to strengthen procurement digitalization capabilities and deliver key digital initiatives. This role is essential for accelerating process automation, improving digital applications, and reducing manual workload across Project Procurement. To address these business aims, the role focuses on three core areas: end-to-end project management of digitalization initiatives, requirements engineering and process automation, and stakeholder alignment and change management. These areas ensure the successful coordination, testing, implementation, and sustainable ownership of digital solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Coordinate digitalization projects from inception to implementation, managing scope, milestones, resources, risks, status reporting, testing, UAT and operational handover to ensure sustainable ownership of digital solutions.
Maintain and prioritize the digital initiatives backlog, aligning project timelines and priorities with strategic procurement objectives.
Analyze end-to-end procurement processes to identify automation opportunities, reduce manual workload, and translate business needs into structured requirements, process flows, use cases and user stories.
Collaborate with technical teams, IT architects and developers to design and implement digital applications and AI use cases.
Facilitate alignment among procurement functions, business users, IT and external partners, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and successful project delivery.
Drive user adoption and continuous improvement through clear communication, training, documentation and change management initiatives, while monitoring application performance and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities.

What You Bring

University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Business IT, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, with 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT project management, business analysis, or procurement digitalization, preferably in an international corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of project and Agile management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum and Waterfall, with experience in backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, and risk management and mitigation.
Strong business analysis and digitalization skills, including requirements engineering (BRDs, FRDs, user stories), process mapping, workflow automation, data literacy, and analytical thinking.
Good understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and experience coordinating digital application landscapes, including SAP and non-SAP solutions, with strong AI and technology literacy.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across procurement, IT, business and other cross-functional teams, including influencing without authority.
Fluency in English is required, while German is an advantage. PMP, PRINCE2, CSPO or PSM certification is considered an advantage.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
