Summary:
Microsoft is hiring a Digital Solution Engineer – Azure Platform for the Small, Medium Enterprises and Channel (SME&C) team. The role focuses on helping customers modernize their applications and databases by migrating them to Azure while improving performance, security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities include leading technical sales engagements, assessing application portfolios, recommending the best Azure migration strategies, conducting modernization workshops, designing cloud architectures, resolving technical challenges, and collaborating with customers, partners, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions.
Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience), along with extensive technical pre-sales or consulting experience. Preferred expertise includes Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, cloud migration, containerization, hybrid networking, and enterprise cloud architecture.
