Job title: Digital Project Manager (MES/MOM/DDS)
About the Role This role is a delivery-oriented digital project manager responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle management of MES/MOM/DDS projects from initiation to final acceptance, coordinating across clients, internal teams, development & implementation teams, automation/IT staff and partners to achieve targeted project delivery.
What You'll Do
- Oversee full project lifecycle management of MES/MOM/DDS projects from initiation, planning, execution, go-live to final acceptance, coordinating all stakeholders to achieve targeted delivery.
- Formulate overall project plans, milestone schedules and phase deliverables, and manage requirement confirmation, design, development, testing, deployment, trial operation and formal acceptance.
- Clarify project scope boundaries, manage client requirement changes, and facilitate change assessment, impact analysis and decision documentation to prevent scope creep.
- Align clients, business consultants, developers, implementers, automation/IT staff, equipment vendors and external partners to ensure issues are addressed, milestones advanced and risks resolved.
- Proactively identify risks in schedule, quality, resources, client collaboration, system integration and migration; drive issue analysis, ownership, solution formation and follow-up.
- Organize regular project meetings, phase reviews and client briefings; clearly present progress, risks, decisions needed and follow-up actions.
- Arrange pre-launch preparation, trial operation and issue list management; prepare acceptance documents and obtain client confirmation for phased and final acceptance.
- Develop and maintain standardized project templates, risk registers, issue trackers and acceptance checklists; optimize meeting mechanisms and summarize lessons learned to elevate team delivery capability.
What We're Looking For
- Over 5 years of project management experience in manufacturing digitalization, MES, MOM, smart factory, industrial software or system integration.
- Led or deeply participated in at least 2 MES/MOM/smart manufacturing projects with full lifecycle coverage from requirements to final acceptance.
- Proficient in project planning, scope control, schedule management, risk management, issue closure and client communication.
- Capable of coordinating clients, internal teams, development & implementation teams, automation/IT staff and external partners in complex projects.
- Understanding of the delivery characteristics of manufacturing projects; familiarity with production, quality management, warehousing, equipment management, energy management and product traceability preferred.
- Strong documentation and reporting capabilities; able to deliver project plans, weekly/monthly reports, risk & issue logs, phase presentations, acceptance documents and project review summaries.
