About the Role Intern in AI deployment for manufacturing to participate in line-level intelligent inspection and process analysis projects. The role will operate directly in a real production environment, contributing to the full lifecycle from algorithm development to on-site application. What You'll Do
- Participate in development (training, validation, optimization) of YOLO/CNN-based glass defect detection models.
- Combine detection results with production process information to support quality issue analysis and traceability logic development.
- Support production workflow data analysis, assist in locating potential problem sources and implementing improvements.
- Collaborate with process engineers to complete algorithm and PLC system integration and debugging.
- Participate in code development, testing, on-site debugging and issue troubleshooting. What We're Looking For
- Undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, AI, Automation, Software or related fields; internship ≥ 6 months; ≥4 days/week.
- Proficient in Python/SQL; ability to develop independently.
- Experience in machine vision / machine learning projects (e.g., YOLO, OpenCV, object detection).
- Strong logical thinking; ability to translate process flows into algorithm logic.
- Quick learner with ability to participate in real engineering projects (bonus).
- PLC/Industrial automation/Manufacturing-related experience is a plus. Nice to Have
- Bonus: experience with PLC/industrial automation or manufacturing domain.
