Job title: Digital IC Design/Verification Engineer
About the Role We are seeking a Digital IC Design/Verification Engineer to contribute to the Framer team, developing and verifying VLSI architecture for high-speed coherent transceivers. The role covers RTL design/coding, C/C++ verification, automated test cases, and maintaining regression test benches.
What You'll Do
- Implement Framer blocks for high-speed coherent transceivers and assist in writing RTL code for PCIe systems.
- Develop and maintain testbenches using SystemVerilog; run simulations and analyze waveforms.
- Conduct C/C++ verification, build automated tests, and maintain regressions.
- Document micro-architecture details, participate in design reviews, and support senior engineers.
- Collaborate with design, firmware, and physical design teams to understand system integration.
- Learn debugging tools, assertions, and basic protocol analysis methods.
What We're Looking For
- Engineering degree in electronics, computer engineering, or software.
- Fluency with C, C++, Python; basic knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts.
- Familiarity with IEEE/Ethernet protocols and framing structures.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
Nice to Have
- Experience in architectural design and implementation in VLSI or FPGA.
- Basic knowledge of verification methods (UVM), regression/test plans.
- Creative problem-solver with focus on speed.
- Good English communication skills.
