About the Role The Digital Communications Manager will support the Michigan League of Conservation Voters (part of the League of Conservation Voters network) by developing and executing digital communications strategies to advance conservation policy and grassroots campaigns in Michigan. The role focuses on creating compelling content, coordinating across channels, and helping engage supporters and partners to grow impact.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement digital communication plans across email, social media, web, and media partnerships to support campaigns.
- Create content (copy, graphics, video) and manage editorial calendars.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize reach and impact.
- Collaborate with program staff and partners to translate policy goals into online narratives.
- Manage digital fundraising and supporter engagement initiatives.

- Experience in digital communications/marketing, especially for advocacy or political campaigns.
- Strong writing and storytelling across multiple channels.
- Proficiency with social media platforms, email platforms, and basic analytics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to environmental protection and building a more equitable democracy.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Michigan politics or environmental policy in Michigan.
- Experience using design tools (Canva, Adobe) or video editing.
- Knowledge of grassroots organizing strategies.
