Overview

As a Digital Cloud Solution Architect, you engage with customer technical decision makers and anticipate their needs through thoughtful data gathering and discovery. You use your understanding of customer context and deep solution expertise to build credibility and help customers progress on their cloud journey. You work with internal experts across Microsoft to overcome technical blockers, collaborate with partners in sell-with scenarios, and share competitive and market insights with your colleagues. You identify and use existing demonstration assets, contribute to pilots and proofs of concept, and help customers adopt and get value from prioritized Microsoft cloud solutions. By applying established methodologies and governance, you reduce business and technical risk, align on success measures and financial priorities with sponsors, and support customer technical teams through readiness content, community engagement, and skilling programs.

Responsibilities

• Engage customer technical decision makers, anticipate needs using customer, industry, and competitive insights, and support their digital transformation with well-designed cloud architectures.
• Drive technical discussions and solution demonstrations (e.g., design sessions, proofs of concept) to prove the value and feasibility of Microsoft cloud solutions, addressing technical blockers and guiding implementation.
• Collaborate with partners and internal experts to deliver joint technical engagements, refine partner demos, and promote usage of prioritized Microsoft solutions that support customer business outcomes.
• Monitor and analyze customer usage patterns, identify new workloads and optimization opportunities, and act as the voice of the customer by sharing feedback, blockers, and insights across Microsoft.
• Build aligned customer timelines and success measures across people, process, and technology, and support customer technical teams through training, community participation, and cloud skilling programs.

Qualifications

• Required/minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years of experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales

• OR Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND 1+ year(s) of experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR 3+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales

• OR equivalent experience.

• Global collaboration is integral to our work at Microsoft, and proficiency in English is essential for effective communication in this role.

• Additional or preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of experience in technical architect, consulting, design and implementation, and/or sales

• OR equivalent experience.

• 2+ years of experience with cloud-based solution designs, migrations and management of technology.

• Fluency in Portuguese language (written and oral).
