We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and caring Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. This position offers excellent flexibility to help you balance work with school, family, or other commitments while making a meaningful difference in our residents' daily lives.

Position Summary: The Part-Time Dietary Aide assists in the preparation, portioning, and serving of evening meals while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment. We offer flexible hours scheduled across the week to accommodate your availability, primarily supporting our PM dinner operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Meal Service: Assist in preparing, plating, and serving dinner meals and snacks according to specific resident dietary plans and texture restrictions.
• Setup & Breakdown: Set up dining room tables and service stations before dinner; break down, clear, and sanitize tables afterward.
• Sanitation & Dishwashing: Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Kitchen Cleanliness: Clean and sanitize food prep areas, sweep, and mop kitchen floors to maintain compliance with health regulations.
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to all facility safety policies, infection control protocols, and food handling regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus, but we are happy to train candidates with the right attitude!
• Skills: Strong communication, a team-player mindset, and a compassionate manner when interacting with elderly or vulnerable residents.
• Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule across the week based on agreed-upon shift availability.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for the duration of your shift, bend, reach, and lift up to 30–50 lbs.
