  • Build strong relationships with existing customers and grow the customer base in the Swartland and surrounding areas.

  • Oversee customer accounts, pricing and invoicing, and follow up on outstanding debtors.

  • Recruit, lead, train and performance-manage depot staff (drivers, attendants and administrative staff), and handle discipline in line with labour legislation.

  • Manage the depot budget, operating costs and cash handling controls.

  • Liaise with fuel suppliers and transporters on orders, pricing and supply.

  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly operational, stock and sales reports to management.

  • Plan resources ahead of seasonal peaks such as planting and harvest.

  • Sound knowledge of bulk fuel handling, wet stock control and reconciliation.

  • Working knowledge of health and safety, environmental and dangerous-goods requirements for fuel storage and transport.

  • Experience managing drivers and a delivery fleet.

  • Valid driver’s licence; Code EC/C1 with PrDP (Dangerous Goods) will be a strong advantage.

  • Computer literate (MS Office, especially Excel) and comfortable with stock or accounting systems.

  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
