- An international television and streaming media house is building a cutting-edge, digital-first platform, launching very soon. It spans a public website, mobile and smart-TV apps, live streaming, and internal newsroom tools.
Section: Responsibilities
- Hybrid infrastructure ownership: Own hosting across on-prem and cloud infrastructure, including physical server configuration, domains, certificates, monitoring and alerting.
- CI/CD ownership: Own the continuous integration and deployment pipelines: how code is built, tested and shipped to production.
- Secrets management: Own secrets across the pipeline (API keys, database credentials, signing keys, service-account tokens and environment variables), including secure storage and rotation.
- Access control (supporting): Support the Security Engineer on the implementation and day-to-day operational management of access control. Security is the primary owner.
Section: Knowledge & skills required
- Cloud & pipelines: Strong cloud infrastructure and deployment-pipeline (CI/CD) experience.
- Hybrid & on-prem: Experience running both on-prem and cloud infrastructure, including physical servers, data migration and backups.
- Secrets management: Hands-on secure handling, storage and rotation of secrets and credentials.
- Infrastructure security: Secure configuration and hardening of servers, networks and deployments.
