About the Role DevOps Engineer in Bremen responsible for building and operating our development environments and provisioning software and tools for development tasks such as development, code review, version control, code analysis, tests, packaging, release management, and configuration management. You will monitor and support production environments and play a key role in automating software development tasks, as well as defining and maintaining processes and selecting tools and technologies for the software domain. What You'll Do
- Build and operate our existing development environments.
- Provide software and tools for development tasks: development, code review, version control, code analysis, tests, packaging, release management, configuration management.
- Monitor and support in production deployment.
- Act as an enabler for automating tasks across software development.
- Support the definition, development and maintenance of processes, tool selection and technologies for the software area. What We're Looking For
- Completed studies in Informatics or comparable qualification or professional experience.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and virtualization solutions.
- Software development experience in an object-oriented programming language.
- Desirable: knowledge of cloud solutions and first experiences in classified environments.
- Independent and structured working style with analytical abilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to share knowledge across colleagues and across departments.
- Experience with Agile methods is desirable.
- Enjoy working in small to mid-sized, highly engaged teams.
- Very good German language skills; good English skills. Nice to Have
