Job Summary

The Utah Museum of Fine Arts (UMFA), located on the University of Utah campus in the Marcia and John Price Museum Building, is home to a diverse collection of art spanning ancient through contemporary works from around the world. Established in 1951 and accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, the UMFA inspires critical dialogue and illuminates the role of art in our lives. Through its collections, exhibitions, and educational programs, the Museum connects people with art, encourages new perspectives, and serves communities across campus, the Wasatch Front, and the broader region.

The Development Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the UMFA Development Department, with primary responsibility for membership administration, gift processing, donor database management, acknowledgements, reporting, and fundraising event logistics.

Working closely with the Director of Development and Donor Engagement Manager, this position maintains accurate donor and member records, provides responsive and welcoming customer service, and coordinates the administrative and logistical details that support fundraising, stewardship, and member engagement. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to building positive relationships with the Museum’s members, donors, and community supporters.
