About the Role Join Cloudinary's Developer Tools ecosystem—building and refining AI-powered image and video APIs that automate lifecycles and enable developers to transform visuals at scale. What You'll Do
- Work on AI-powered APIs for image and video processing, including Generative Fill, Generative Remove, Generative Replace, Background Replace Refiner, Zoom Pan, 3D Spin, and Upscaling.
- Design and implement features that automate cropping, focus area refinement, and video cropping to ensure the most important content is delivered.
- Build and improve developer experiences with crafting examples, documentation, and samples that demonstrate how to compose multiple AI tools (e.g., outpainting, object removal, background replacement) into production workflows.
- Create smooth, scalable pipelines for image and video lifecycles, including high-quality upscaling and overlays, while maintaining delivery performance.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with cloud-based image/video processing APIs and media pipelines.
- Familiarity with AI-powered content editing tasks such as cropping, outpainting, object removal, color/texture replacements, and upscaling.
- Ability to design developer-friendly APIs, SDKs, docs, and sample apps.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality media experiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience with interactive media features such as product galleries, 360-degree views, and 3D models.
- Familiarity with Cloudinary's platform, CDNs, and image/video optimization techniques.
- Interest in advanced cropping strategies like Object-Aware Cropping and Focus Area Refiners.
