The AI Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, deploying and integrating AI-powered solutions that improve business processes, employee productivity, customer experience, and operational efficiency. The role bridges business needs and technical implementation by translating business challenges into scalable AI use cases, building AI-enabled applications, copilots, intelligent agents, and automation workflows, and ensuring that solutions are secure, reliable, measurable, and aligned with enterprise architecture, data governance, cybersecurity, and Responsible AI standards.
Your Impact:
- Develop, test, and support AI-powered applications, copilots, chatbots, automation workflows, and other AI-enabled solutions using approved enterprise platforms and services.
- Work closely with the AI Process Improvements Product Owner to understand priorities, clarify requirements, and implement solutions aligned with business needs.
- Build and enhance solutions using Large Language Models, Azure AI services, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and agent-based workflows under the guidance of senior team members.
- Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems, APIs, business applications, and data sources while following established development, testing, security, and governance practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, data engineers, and technology teams to validate solutions, resolve implementation issues, and support continuous improvement.
Your Experience and Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, software engineering, information technology, engineering, business informatics, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in software development, automation, data engineering, AI/ML, cloud development, application development, or digital technology delivery.
- Hands-on programming experience, preferably with Python, and basic understanding of modern software development practices, source control, testing, and APIs.
- Basic knowledge of generative AI concepts, large language models, prompt engineering, Azure AI services, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI-enabled platforms.
- Good English communication skills and the ability to work with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams in a collaborative environment.

Your Workplace: As a designated remote role, this position is primarily performed from a home office, except when business needs require an in-person presence.
AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions. The office is easily accessible by car and public transport. Restaurants, cafés, and shopping centers are also located around the office.
