Job title: Desktop Virtualization Engineer
About the Role We are seeking a Desktop Virtualization Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in desktop virtualization and Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop/XenNetScaler administration to join Wipro's global technology team. The role involves managing Citrix and VMware environments, implementing automation, and collaborating across Azure, IAM, and security tooling in a fast-paced, multinational setting.
What You'll Do
- Manage and administer Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop and NetScaler environments, and maintain related infrastructure.
- Work with VMware Hypervisor, vCenter, Windows Server 2016/2019, and TCP/IP networking and VPN gateways.
- Develop scripts and automation using PowerShell and Jenkins, and contribute to Azure and IAM-related tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, adhere to Agile delivery methods, and operate in a large multinational environment.
- Communicate complex technical issues concisely and work independently under pressure, including odd hours and holidays.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Desktop Virtualization, with solid Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop/NetScaler administration.
- Strong knowledge of VMware Hypervisor, vCenter, Windows Server 2016/2019, TCP/IP networking, and VPN gateways.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Jenkins; familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Windows/Office, browsers, Java, and security tooling.
- Experience with identity and access management tooling, Active Directory, MECM; knowledge of Agile delivery methods and tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical issues concisely; able to work independently under high pressure and during odd hours/holidays.
- Experience in large-scale multinational companies or as part of an Agile or Operations team is a plus; respectful of diverse cultures.
Nice to Have
- Experience using Agile delivery methods and tools to implement both tactical and strategic changes is a plus.
