Location: College Park, Georgia (On-site)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Desktop Platform Engineer to contribute to the design and implementation of a next-generation desktop platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, packaging technologies, virtualization, and telemetry tools. This role requires an understanding of a dispersed technical environment, including networking tools and terminology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer solutions within packaging and OS delivery tools such as Microsoft Configuration Manager, Flexera Admin Studio, and Microsoft App-V.

• Analyze business use case scenarios to determine the optimal toolset and design for each situation.

• Document engineering designs and operational procedures for all developed solutions.

• Execute tasks that support branch office projects and initiatives.

• Work with release management workflows and toolsets.

• Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of the Windows 10 operating system environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Virtualization Technologies, including App-V and User

Experience

• Virtualization (UEV).

• Proficiency with Flexera Admin Studio and Microsoft Configuration Manager.

• Familiarity with VMware Hosted Virtual Desktop environments.

• Competence in scripting languages such as VBScript, Perl, and PowerShell.

• Experience with telemetry tools like Splunk and Aternity.

• Understanding of release management workflow tools.
