About this role

Design & Development
Research current inspiration and industry trends.
Contribute ideas and take initiative on projects.
Drive newness, creativity, and innovation in your product and design work.
Create and update line sheets and design cards.
Work with the design and cross-functional teams on development, costing sheets, prints, and fittings.
Create sketches and CADs with direction from the Senior Designer.
Collaborate with production and PD teams to source and develop trims and fabrics.
Partner with the technical team on style development, including design card creation and fitting sessions.
Support story/mood board creation as directed by the Senior Designers.
Support presentations, including working with the 3D team.
Manage your own workload and time to meet deadlines.
Update and maintain Miro boards as directed by the Senior Designers, including checking internal and Target-facing communication.
Support internal and Target meeting presentations.
Participate in project check-ins with the design team and communicate with cross-functional teams.
Sample Management & Logistics
Coordinate with product development, tech, and production teams to develop product.
Support shipment of team samples to Target.
Keep your calendar current with design team deadlines and meetings.
Shopping
Regularly shop Target stores and other stores for inspiration.
Contribute to shopping reports.
Daily Workflow

Responsibilities vary based on calendar, design schedule, and needs:

Monitor and respond to emails throughout the day.
Review internal and external Miro boards for communication and updates.
Communicate progress, goals, and deadlines to the Senior Designer and design team.
Fittings (varies).
Salary $90,000-$125,000
