Job title: Design Technician
Location: Jackson, MI Contract: 9 months Schedule: 40 Hours Pay: $26/hr - $28/hr (DOE)
Design Technician | Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-year college degree in scientific or technical field or equivalent.
- Willingness to accept and follow direction
- Good communication skills, including written and verbal
- Good analytical skills
- Good drawing reading skills
- Ability to coordinating multiple projects and tasks.
- Skilled in power point, word, bluebeam / adobe
- Detailed orientated.
Design Technician | Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include collecting/calculating data, basic testing in the field of specialization (if required), coordinating multiple engineering projects, supporting lead project engineers in design reviews, drawing comment consolidation, specification development and design reviews.
- Also responsible for preparing engineering drawings, maps, finished drawings and graphic exhibits.
- Develop field reports, inspection reports and project summary reports in support of lead project engineers.
- Willingness to attend site visits and travel as required for field work.
