Our uniquely redesigned product is a significantly more compact fuel cell with high power density and lower costs of production. To help achieve our vision of a decarbonised future we are seeking Mechanical Engineers to design components and assemblies for our compact, high power density fuel cell products.
This role requires full-time, on-site presence at our Nyon, Switzerland office. We're not able to offer remote or hybrid arrangements, so candidates should be prepared to relocate.
Key Responsibilities

Design mechanical components, modules and assemblies for fuel cell stacks and systems

Produce 3D models, detailed drawings and tolerancing (GD&T)

Apply design-for-manufacture and design-for-assembly principles

Support prototyping, build and validation of designs

Work with suppliers on component manufacture and tooling

Maintain BOMs, drawings and engineering changes in PLM

Collaborate with simulation, test, electrical and process engineering

Skills and
Experience

Required:
-
BSc/MSc in mechanical engineering is mandatory
-
Minimum 3–5 years of mechanical design experience in a complex hardware engineering environment, with direct experience in fuel cell stacks, electrolyzers, high-voltage battery modules, powertrains, or complex thermal systems.

Proficiency with 3D CAD (ex. SolidWorks) and in-depth understanding of GD&T

Understanding of DFM/DFA and common manufacturing processes

Knowledge of sealing, thermofluidic, thermal or structural design is a plus

Team player able to work autonomously with internal and external experts

Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory, French is a plus
