About the Role We are seeking a Mechanical Plant Designer (MPS) for ANDRITZ Hydropower services in Schio, Italy. The role focuses on designing mechanical systems and auxiliary plant components, with particular emphasis on hydraulic and fluid-power systems, and collaborating with internal departments to deliver projects.
What You'll Do
- Design mechanical plants and auxiliary systems.
- Produce technical documentation and drawings using CAD tools.
- Collaborate with internal departments (technical office, production, project management).
- Provide technical support during fabrication and commissioning/testing.
- Occasional travel to clients in Italy and abroad.
What We're Looking For
- Age up to 45
- Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or energy fields
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
- Strong communication skills and teamwork
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- English language proficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Cross-functional skills: precision and quality orientation
- Ability to work in a team and interface with various interlocutors
- Proactivity and problem solving
- Good organization of work
