About the Role Moment is hiring a Design Engineer to define what Moment's product feels like in the hands of the people who use it. You'll prototype quickly, ship polished UI in TypeScript, and obsess over micro-interactions and visual details that separate good from great product. This role sits at the intersection of design and frontend engineering and will set the standard for financial software feel.
What You'll Do
- Prototype quickly and ship polished UI in TypeScript
- Obsess over small interactions, micro-animations, and visual details that separate good from great product
- Work closely with design, product, and engineering to deliver experiences that are ambitious and distinctive
- Navigate from concept sketches to production components; articulate, lead, and execute work spanning design, prototyping, and frontend engineering
- Be equally comfortable in Figma and in code, with a high bar for both
- Operate in a highly autonomous, highly collaborative role that values ownership of outcomes
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a frontend or design engineer with TypeScript expertise
- Willing and able to just go figure stuff out
- Experience working as a product designer is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $175K to $275K
- Equity: aggressive initial grant + annual performance-based bonuses
