🔍 About the Opportunity: Design Engineer

Your mission as a Design Engineer is to develop innovative, practical, and cost-effective engineering designs that enhance product quality, optimize manufacturing processes, and support continuous product improvement.

You will play an important role in designing and developing new products, preparing accurate technical drawings, improving existing solutions, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure efficient manufacturing and high-quality results.

💼 Key Responsibilities: Product Design, Engineering & Continuous Improvement

• Design and develop new products based on customer requirements, technical specifications, and manufacturing capabilities.

• Create, modify, and review detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks and relevant engineering design tools.

• Prepare engineering specifications, technical documentation, and manufacturing drawings to support production activities.

• Conduct engineering studies, material testing, and technical investigations to support product development and improvement.

• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into practical engineering designs and solutions.

• Participate in product development activities, from initial concept through design review and production implementation.

• Design gauges, fixtures, and other engineering tools required to support manufacturing operations.

• Identify opportunities to optimize raw material utilization, reduce waste, and improve product cost-effectiveness.

• Support product standardization and design rationalization initiatives across the organization.

• Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to resolve design-related issues and improve manufacturing efficiency.

• Recommend improvements to existing products to enhance performance, functionality, and manufacturability.

• Contribute to optimizing production processes and reducing manufacturing time through effective engineering design.

• Maintain accurate design records, technical specifications, engineering drawings, and related documentation.

• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of design equipment, computers, measuring instruments, and engineering tools.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of customer information, technical specifications, and proprietary product designs.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement approved engineering changes according to established procedures.

✅ Essential Skills & Qualifications: Mechanical Design & Technical Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Production & Design).

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, product development, or a similar engineering position.

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, particularly 3D modeling and engineering drawings.

• Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and material selection.

• Experience preparing and reviewing 2D drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications.

• Knowledge of gauges, fixtures, and manufacturing support tools.

• Understanding of product standardization, raw material optimization, and production efficiency.

• Ability to analyze technical challenges and develop practical engineering solutions.

• Good planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to engineering accuracy and quality.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and quality teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple engineering tasks within deadlines.
